We are launching a fund to support 4 social impact-driven organisations in the tech sector that are run by black founders that we have been working with and supporting over the past few years. Each of these organisations touches the lives of thousands within the black community to help them to prepare in one way or another for their futures. Your financial support will be equally distributed among them to help them to operate and progress and impact the lives of thousands more.
We have seen increasing conversations about the value of black lives as a result of the murder of George Floyd and the response from the Black Lives Matter movement. We welcome advancements towards positive change for the black community across all forums whether that be at work or in the streets, at school or in hospitals. We want to see equality for black people in every arena, globally.
We have been contacted by many in our community and beyond about how they can support the black community, particularly in tech. It would be great to support and share our services and offerings to organisations that believe in innovation and representation.
However, we do recognise that whilst protests and education are important and we commend the efforts being made to bring about change in this way, there is an overwhelming need to redistribute wealth to black communities. Financial investment in black people through businesses and community initiatives will be a key requirement for real change.
We are therefore launching this fund to support 4 social impact-driven organisations in the tech sector that are run by black founders that we have been working with and supporting over the past few years. These organisations have touched the lives of thousands within the black community to help them to prepare in one way or another for their futures. Your financial support will be equally distributed among them to help them to operate and progress and impact the lives of thousands more. You can read more about each organisation below and the ways that you can support them directly and you can donate right here.
