Introduction

Important community work often takes place outside our traditional standards of innovation and sustainability. This donations program aims to provide accessible funding to these essential initiatives.

Objectives

1. Support immediate community needs through grassroots organisations.
2. Provide accessible funding to smaller, local initiatives.
3. Enable quick response to community challenges.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for a Kwanda donations, applicants must:

1. Be based in or primarily serving communities in Africa or the Caribbean.
2. Be legally registered as a non-profit or have a registered fiscal host.
3. Have raised less than $200,000 in external funding.

Information beyond this point is used internally to administer the fund, and is viewable to villagers only.
